Neil Spangler

Neil started his own entertainment accounting practice in 2003 after several years working for a large Beverly Hills accounting firm.  The overriding client-focused philosophy Neil seeks to employ merges technological innovation with great, old fashioned customer service.  He believes that every client is important no matter how large or small.  In addition, he believes the adoption of the correct mix of new technologies allows businesses of all sizes to benefit.

Neil has been working with Entertainment Industry Professionals for almost two decades.  He has extensive experience working with closely held entities, including LLC’s and S-Corporations as well as the individuals who own them.  

Technology

The firm employs a completely web-based approach using the latest accounting, tax and business work-flow technologies to work directly with clients and decrease the time focused on performing repetitive, non-value added tasks.  We are constantly trying to change the conversation from “what happened?” to “where are we headed and how are we going to get there?” 

There are currently accounting solutions in place which allow the small business owner and entrepreneur unparalleled access and control over his or her business operations by  leveraging web based accounting solutions such as Xero and its entire ecosystem of add-on solutions such as Plooto and Hubdoc.  Xero, according to Forbes magazine, is a “disruptive” technology within the small business accounting software landscape.   These solutions have essentially leveled the accounting playing field and allow smaller sized firms to employ processes once the purview of large, multi-national corporations.  It truly is an exciting time to be involved with technology based accounting and business solutions
